Paradise Festival is Set to Be Enchanting as Ever in 2016

Expect some huge names and big changes, including an indoor nightclub on site.

Paradise Music Festival is back. And we're happy to report that it's bringing in its fourth birthday with some pretty great news.

This morning, it was announced that Paradise 2016 will take place over the weekend of November 25 – 27, and that once more, the festival will be hosted by Lake Mountain, in Victoria's breathtaking Alpine Region.

And this year, as it moves away from its infantile stages and further into the grown-up years, Paradise will evolve to feature three main stages, that - when considered alongside each other, embody what we've come to term the "Paradise experience."

There will be a lush, grassy amphitheatre made for kicking back in, an indoor 'lux' nightclub fit for 4 a.m. grooving and, perhaps the most mysterious of all, a secret late-night room dubbed the 'Basement Niterie.'

In only four years, Paradise has established itself as a springboard of sorts for emerging talent in the Australian music industry. In previous years, the all-Aussie lineup has featured names both familiar and foreign, and is tipped by local musos as the primo place to discover your next musical obsession.

This year, the festival promises to offer another tightly-curated exploration into alternative beats and burgeoning cultural scenes within Australia, and will focus on bringing us a medley of experimental artists that are interested in amalgamating an array of musical genres, rather than conforming to the boundaries of any particular aesthetic.

Rolling out across the last weekend of Spring, we're predicting Paradise will provide the perfect welcome party for this year's long-awaited summer. Especially considering the festival is set against a dreamy backdrop of ghostly gums and that crisp, dewy alpine air that - when coupled with a set of shimmery tunes - is very capable of eliciting goose bumps.

The full lineup is set to be released next week. Tickets are on sale now and are available here.
