Good Things Come To Those Who Listen To Oisima

Take Your Time and appreciate this meditative new single from the Adelaide producer.

How long to make a masterpiece? A day? A decade? A whole life? There's no one path to greatness, but there's no shortcuts either. Adelaide producer Oisima has been honing his skills for years, and each release feels like a patiently crafted gift. "Take Your Time" is the latest, a melodically rich track that draws on Oisima's love of soul, jazz, and beats. It's also the second single from his Nicaragua Nights LP, arriving May 15. On the surface we may seem calm, but the reality is we can't wait. For now though we've got this stream and some wise words from Oisima about the song.
Oisima: "Take Your Time" is an ode to people needing to stop, take a breath and not get so caught up in the unnecessary daily grind. The tempo of the track is really upbeat but a lot of the elements I've created, the vocals for example, almost feel lethargic and behind the beat which plays with the ears in a way I really enjoy.
