Dallas-bred and LA-based dreamy trap DJ and producer Lil Texas will release his first EP in three years next Wednesday, February 22nd. Titled 4 Ever, its coming out on Japanese label Trekkie Trax and will feature four songs that range from head-nodding hip-hop sounds to airy electro-dance. Lil Texas gave a sneak peek of the EP's title track on Wednesday; today, he premieres "I'm Yours" with THUMP, the third single on the EP and the most dancefloor-ready track.

"I wanted to put a club joint on the EP because the rest of the tracks are at 150+ BPM," said Lil Texas in an email to THUMP. "'I'm Yours' came to me one day on a Saturday afternoon. It was raining outside and within three hours this really cool melodic piece came together. It's intended to have a hopeful yet melancholic feel and make the listener move but also get lost in the sound."

Formerly signed to Donky Pitch Records, Lil Texas decided to release 4 Ever with Trekkie Trax after watching the label's prolific output, including artists like Carpainter and Masayoshi Iimori. He approached the label for a collaboration, and the EP was born.

"We met Lil Texas online," the label said in a statement. "We had already liked his music since his release on Donky Pitch in 2013. So we were hyped when he started following us on social media in 2015. For this EP, he hit us up with his demo first. We've been checking his music for a long time, so we decided to release the EP and to plan his tour in Asia with C.Z.!"

You can catch the whole 4 Ever EP on Lil Texas' Soundcloud on Wednesday, February 22nd.
