Lokane Goes ON DECK With 50 Minutes Of Schizophrenic, Globetrotting Bass

Earlier this year, we highlighted Infinite Machine as one of the most exciting and prolific labels in Canada and have kept a keen eye on acts like like Liar, Pixelord, and Effy. In turns out we left one very crucial name off that list, though: Lokane.

The London-based producer released just his first track on a Nervous Horizon compilation in August, and swiftly followed it up with his debut EP, The Eastway Project, for Infinite Machine, which offered up a grimy, heavy-hitting serving of machinic paranoia. For those that caught his Boiler Room appearance on the DVA & Friends bill back in April, the effectiveness of these releases should have come as no surprise.

Now the producer has come through to deliver our latest edition of ON DECK, and he sets things moving right with a combination of unremitting energy and globetrotting, schizophrenic selection—he touches on everything from grime to footwork, jersey club, and beyond.
