Sydney-based British producer Aaron Bannie AKA Third Floor, released his debut EP, Dream State, last month. A hybrid of chill-wave house and club-ready dance, Dream State feels like the early work of an artist with a huge career ahead of them. Single "You Are The One" is like an island holiday, a pop-style melody wound up in a flurry of beautiful production details—the perfect antidote for a challenging Monday.

What's your perfect Monday morning record and why?

Good question. Depends what mood I'm in. Mondays are typically writing/studio days so I like listening to anything emotive. Currently my jam on repeat is Troy Boi featuring NEFERA track called "On My Own," which I've included in this mix. The track instantly transports you inward and evokes all your internal emotions. Makes you feel alive.

Best way to pass the time on a morning commute?

I always listen to music on the way to work. I have a playlist of my favourite artists Massive Attack, Snakehips, TroyBoi, Maxwell.

Tell us about the worst job you ever had?

Hmmm. During my high school days one of my 1st jobs was working in manufacturing. Literally building pallets for white goods. It was immensely boring and involved zero creativity…. Needless to say I lasted 4 days.
