Mac DeMarco and Pals Frolic Through Downtown Streets in Elliott Vincent Jones' "Dawawine" Video

The lighthearted clip for the Toronto electro-pop artist's song was directed by DeMarco's bassist Pierce McGarry.

When he's not making playing bass in Mac DeMarco's band, Montreal's Pierce McGarry makes delightfully weird, lo-fi music videos for your favourite indie rock artists, and his lighthearted clip for Toronto's Elliott Vincent Jones' latest 80s-influenced electro-pop single "Dawawine" is no exception.

It follows Fucked Up member (and former Goosebumps child star) Ben Cook—impersonating Jones in a cheap wig, sunglasses, and trenchcoat—as he dances through downtown streets, with a brief cameo from Mac himself.

Watch it above and look for Jones' Arto Arto EP out June 10 via Bad Actors.
