Enigmatic virtual band Gorillaz today announced that they would headline the first-ever edition of their Demon Dayz festival. The AEG and Goldenvoice-presented event will feature the band's first live performance since 2010's Escape to Plastic Beach Tour, and take pace June 10 in Margate, England at the Dreamland amusement park.

The rest of the Demon Dayz lineup is yet to be announced, but we know that the festival will take place across three stages and be broadcast live by Red Bull TV. With their ticket, patrons will also get access to Dreamland's 22 rides.

Demon Dayz will be curated by Gorillaz co-creators Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. The festival announcement follows the January release of "Hallelujah Money," the band's first new song in six years.

Although Gorillaz have done numerous performances since their 2010 tour, they have all been iterations of Gorillaz Sound System, a DJ set and audiovisual show.

Tickets for the festival are $73.54 (£60) and will go on sale this Friday, March 10 at 9 AM GMT (4 AM EST).
