Sitting 675 meters (2,215 feet) above sea level, Whistler Blackcomb is quite literally going to throw the coolest (and highest) party in the world. *Insert obligatory powder joke here. *From April 11 to 20, the ski resort will play host to the biggest annual gathering of winter sports, music, arts, and culture in North America, the World Ski and Snowboard Festival. The 10-day festival features a slew of big name skiers and snowboarders—many of them Olympians and world champions—and competitive events such as Slopestyle and Big Air. WSSF also offers several other activities, including filmmaker and photographer showdowns, and the Bud Light Silent Disco, a "party like no other", where attendees will grab a pair of headphones and rock out to one of three live DJs while the actual venue itself sits in complete silence.All of that sounds interesting, but the motto for WSSF is "Party in April. Sleep in May." So where are the crazy parties? Don't worry, this year, the World Ski and Snowboard Festival is going to make sure that your legs are tired from more than just the hills. This year, they want to take you to The END.As the name suggests, The END is the final event of the festival.
