Listen to Jubilee and Gaika Discuss the Manchester Attacks and Traveling the World

The latest episode of The Pre-Game podcast also includes an exclusive DJ set from the Brixton-bred artist.

Fresh off of a weekend at Moogfest and shortly after the Manchester attacks, Gaika and Jubilee sit down to touch on themes both dark and light. With influences ranging from grime to visual art, the Brixton-based artists' releases—on labels like Warp and Mixpak, as well as a handful of self-released projects—always showcase a diverse palette of sounds. In this podcast episode, the pair talk about Gaika's humble roots, how he feels about the current state of music, and what life is like on the road. They also touch on his feelings towards the heinous attacks in Manchester, before ending on a brighter chat about the state of dubstep. Jubilee and Gaika then round out the proceedings with two individual DJ sets. Check it out below.
