Guy Gerber and Puff Daddy's "Tourist Trap" Sneaks Back into Our Lives with a Visionquest Remix

Pack your bags and head to the dancefloor.

Sometimes the unlikeliest of pairs work wonders together: chocolate and cheese, champagne and OJ, Guy Gerber and Puff Daddy. The iconic hip-hop star and tech-house playboy first hooked up after Daddy, Diddy back then, did the damn thing and used one of Gerber's tracks on his still-thrilling Last Train to Paris LP. Little did we know, but this was a moment that would spark a longfound passion for dance music in Puffy, as well as years down the line, the highly anticipated project and album from the rapper and Gerber—11 11.

The culmination of the Gerber/Daddy team-up was finally released to the world last year, along with our documentary covering the LP's lengthy creation process, which also sheds light on the relationship between the unlikely pair. Why not watch it all over again, before you check out the Visionquest remix of one of the LP's most banging tracks, "Tourist Trap," which is streaming above.

Guy's decided to get a few pals in to remix "Tourist Trap", which hits stores on March 2nd, with a package featuring reworkings by Jamie Jones, Soul Clap, David K and Gerber himself.

The remix we're streaming above comes courtesy of Lee Curtiss, Ryan Crosson and Shaun Reeves, AKA Visionquest, whose production unit have turned in a chunkily effective roller that's sure to do serious dancefloor destruction in the coming months.
