Hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, Bear Mountain describe themselves as a "triangle dance band from the future," a pretty apt summary of their melodic, electro-pop music. After releasing their 2013 debut album XO on Last Gang Records, the quartet have returned with a chirpy new single "Give It Up," and they've enlisted Fool's Gold co-founder Nick Catchdubs for a remix."Nick has this ability to take a track and totally turn it on its head," the band's founder Ian Bevis told THUMP via email. "He uses his blend of hip-hop and techno to take the track in a totally new and weird direction.
