Canada’s Finest Gathered on Sun-Kissed Shores at Center of Gravity

Project 46, Torro Torro, Chris Lake, and ODESZA share their experiences and more.

If you drive past the wineries, the resorts, the McDonald's that closes at 12 AM, and over the bridge across Lake Okanagan, you'll find Center of Gravity Festival firmly planted on one of Kelowna's many sun-kissed shores from July 25th to 27th. We'd heard a lot about the city, the festival, the army of gourmet food trucks, and the beach stage's bikini contest so this year we decided we packed our bags and set our sights on the Ogopogo.

During our first night in town, we met up with Ryan and Thomas of Project 46 to have some beers and shoot the shit. Talking to them, you'd never guess that they went from playing at The Modern for $50 to headlining festivals across the globe in such a short time. They're so laid back that they ooze Canadiana and that's exactly what people love so much about them. It wasn't long before we caught another laid-back Canadian duo, Mike and Evan of Torro Torro who were bikini watching the next day. Center of Gravity veteran Chris Lake gave his thoughts on the festival and everyone's favourite Seattle duo, ODESZA, explained how they've ramped up their live set for big stage settings.

Check out our Bud Light Living Room recap video above and we'll see you all there next year!
