Bassnectar Goes “Infrared” in Neon-Splattered Music Video

The veteran Bay Area producer's EP 'Reflective' is out now.

Following the release of his new EP Reflective today, Bay Area bass heavyweight Bassnectar has shared a music video for full-throttle single "Infrared," which features Ghanaian artist Macntaj. As the track's title suggests, the visual utilizes an infrared effect as it follows a lone long-boarder en route to a wild Spring Breakers-esque party.

The EP ranges from tranquil opener "Arps of Revolución" to old-school rave cut "Underground," and features guest appearances by West Coast bass producers G Jones and Dorfex Bos, Washington, DC rapper Born I Music, and LA singer-songwriter Mimi Page.

In a recent Billboard interview, Bassnectar described his creative process, saying, "Each tune will find its home in my sets for years to come. It's just fun to make noises, and it's fun to sculpt them into the exact shape that you want in that moment, especially doing so collaboratively."
