ADMN Says “If You Can Dance, You Can Fuck”

Stream the upcoming booty jackin’ single from this new Detroit talent.

Odds are you haven't heard of Alexander Drazin, aka ADMN, unless you're a local head in Detroit's house and techno scene. However, in techno's international mecca, he's seen as some of the brightest new talent around. ADMN has been gaining tremendous support as a producer and DJ, and has already opened for the likes of Lee Curtiss, Kevin Saunderson, Christian Martin and Monty Luke in Detroit.

ADMN's musical resume is just as extensive. He's trained in classical and jazz theory and served as an audio engineer for Eminem's Recovery LP. The Prophet 08 is his weapon of choice for his solo studio productions, which have already been released by Worthy's label Anabatic and Rob Made's imprint, Sleazy Deep. His debut solo EP, Flaunt It, will be released through Anabatic on December 9 and has seen support from Maya Jane Coles, Scuba, Âme, Tiga and more.

ADMN describes his productions as "equal parts left and right brain, with an extra serving of bass." This is apparent in "Dance Strutt," a standout tune from Flaunt It. This track feature's ADMN's funkified pitch modulations on huge bass notes and sensual vocal hooks from JH Allday. Throw in some tense, eerie organ chords on top and you can write this tune in as a dance floor filler.

The remaining two tracks on the EP are also noteworthy. "Motor Boat" is co-produced by another Detroit up-and-comer, Doug English. And "Break N Dana" rounds out the release with a laidback vibe that still jacks.
