Artists Chelsea Faith Dolan, a.k.a. Cherushii, and Johnny Igaz, a.k.a. Nackt have been identified as victims of the Ghost Ship fire in Oakland Friday night. Both were scheduled to perform that night, and also had affiliations with the 100% Silk label that threw the party.Dolan released her debut album Memory Of Water on the label last year, and had been working in the industry for over a decade, reports the East Bay Times. Igaz put out music on labels including Chillin Music, Popgang, Don't Say Techno, and 3AM Devices, along with 100% Silk. He co-founded three parties in the Bay Area including Outpost, Rare Form, and Deep East.Government officials said 35 of the fire's 36 victims have now been identified, and that the blaze may have been caused by a refrigerator or some other electrical appliance. Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O'Malley said that her office had not yet conclusively determined whether a crime had occurred in the fire, but that there could possibly be murder or involuntary manslaughter charges, reports the BBC.The head of San Francisco's office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said there was "no indication" that the fire was created intentionally.Yesterday, the Today show broadcasted an interview with Ghost Ship manager Derick Almena, in which he was asked if he should be held responsible for what happened. Meanwhile, artists, labels, and venues from across the country are coming together to fundraise for the fire relief cause.Follow Alexander on Twitter.
