Dustin Nantais Says It's "Me Time" With a Soulful Progressive Release

A new track from a Toronto artist, equipped with a free download.

It brings me great pleasure to stumble upon local talents, and that's exactly what Toronto producer Dustin Nantais is—a talent. His diverse collection of deep, soulful progressive and energetic techno made him the toast of several underground parties I've attended. Now, he's giving away a special treat: a free download of his new single, "Me Time."

If you're looking for a deep, infectious groove to lose yourself to, "Me Time" is the one. A pulsing, pumping, progressive pilgrimage, "Me Time" is a vocal-driven powerhouse perfect for those endless nights on the dancefloor. I can't say for certain, but I'm pretty confident that a piece of my soul is still off dancing to this song in a grimy club basement somewhere.

Dustin explained his thought process behind the record:

"I've always been a big fan of spoken word tracks; tracks like 'Bilingual' by Jose Nunez from back in the day. There's really nothing more badass than a big room sound accompanied by a vocalist leading you through the journey with inspirational or transcendental lyrics," said Dustin. "Being in spoken word, this track was a bit of an experiment for me. But when I got my hands on a Robert Owens sample pack, I knew I just had to give it a go. Owens is a legend when it comes to spoken word, and I think it really shows in this track."

Grab your free download up above and keep your eyes (and ears) open for more mesmerizing releases from Dustin this year.
