HUMANS are the Canadian indie-electronic pop group that holds musical innovation at its crux.

Robbie Slade and Peter Ricq have engrossed audiences with their dynamic live acts since 2010. With Slade on guitar, synthesizers, samplers and lead vocals, and Ricq manning an assortment of what he defines as "cheap-ass electronic gear," the two are chockfull of technical skill and precision. Their ever-changing sound ranges from minimal percussions and charismatic vocal hooks, to tracks grounded in radio-friendly guitar melodies.

After the success of their 2012 EP Traps―which rose to critical acclaims from CBC Music, Resident Advisor and the National Electronic Chart for Canadian college radio, to name a few―and two mini-EPs, the boys are back with Noontide. The album is the fifth major release for HUMANS and was produced by Nik Kozub from Edmonton's electro group, Shout Out Out Out Out.

"Follow" is the ninth track on the album and it plays like many of the infectious, eerie pop tracks before it. The melody of beats push forward, as the reverberating, tinny vocals move against the grain of the tempo―really putting your imagination to work. It's an innovative mix of thick electronics and modern pop spirit.
