The excitement surrounding EDC Las Vegas has officially reached fever pitch as news about the festival is now pouring out of the Insomniac camp.

First, the schedule for EDC Week has been released. From when Borgeous kick off the week on Monday the 15th at Marquee to when Diplo and Skrillex's closing party rounds affairs out at XS Nightclub on Monday the 22nd, Las Vegas will be overrun with ravers bouncing off the walls in excitement and good vibes.

In all, there are a whopping 81 official events to take place at nightclubs up and down the strip, in addition to the EDMbiz Conference, which will bring together luminaries from all over the electronic music industry. Check out the lineup:

Perhaps even more excitingly, Insomniac has announced that all eight stages will have undergone major production upgrades, the largest of which will take place at the mainstage KineticFIELD, re-imagined as The Crystal Village, where a humanoid owl will act as Master of Ceremonies and unleash a sky of element crystals over the crowd between each set. Wow, are we tripping already?

Insomniac has also announced the addition of Carnival Square, a central locale that'll serve as both an effective meeting point (i.e it doesn't move like the daisy) and a chill-out spot.

And if your ears get worn out from all the hyperized dance tunes (sucks for you, by the way), take a wander over to the 360 degree The Funk House stage, where you'll find funk, soul, and classic hip-hop all weekend.

Last, if the recent announcement of the lineup wasn't quite enough to make you lose your shit, EDC Las Vegas has announced the final round of additions, with some notable performers. Moody house master Eelke Kleijn has been added, as have Soul Clap, Ummet Ozcan, Dosem, Blasterjaxx, Chus & Ceballos, and some gems from the LA underground like Durante and Astronomar.

Here's all the new kids:
Astronomar // Barreis // Baumer // Blasterjaxx // Brandon Elliot // Chus & Ceballos // Dosem // Eelke Kleijn // GAIA // Graff // Harry Romero // Juliet Fox // Prok & Fitch // Soul Clap // Ummet Ozcan // Wiwek // Light Year // Louis B // CSTNZA // Wiseman // Out of Hand // Thee Cool Cats // The Interns // Human Life // Blaise James // Durante // Astronomar

See you under the pretty lights, folks!
