As the new White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer will ostensibly want to be taken seriously, for professional reasons. Unfortunately for him, he's not exactly off to a great start. After he scolded the media on Saturday for accurately reporting the size of inauguration crowds, now someone has uncovered a series of confusing tweets by the former RNC communications director about a group called "Daft Funk," reports Consequence of Sound.

In a head-scratching bit of running commentary, he accuses the French duo of "blowing" their "10 seconds in the spotlight" at the 2014 Grammys, despite the fact that they had previously been nominated and won numerous times at the awards show. Lest we forget, Daft Punk had also gone on a number of world tours by this point, too, and released an impressive array of international smash hits.

Then, after claiming that he was an "early and still fan," he criticizes their signature robot costumes, implying that their headgear looked immature. It would have been easy to Google "Daft Punk" and see that they literally always wear those, but we digress.

For anyone interested in actually learning about Daft Punk for situations like these, we ranked every single song they've ever made.
