Isis Graham and Substation Recordings Will Have "You" Grooving Like It's 1990

Four-to-the-floor's love affair with acid is back.

Hollie McGowan

Substation Recording's own Isis Graham is set to release her new EP, titled You. The four-track EP includes remixes by Calgary's Wax Romeo and Matt Caine while welcoming Toronto native Chordlust to Substation's ensemble. Reviving early 90s rave legends such as The Orb, A Guy Called Gerald, and Sasha, You rekindles four-to-the-floor's love affair with acid and ambient elements, while still giving it a modern twist. With trance-inducing rhythms, tasteful synths, and reverb topped with amorous, whispering female vocals, this EP is a must-have for any club or afterhours music selector.

In Calgary, one of Canada's fastest-growing cities, Isis Graham and Substation Recordings are at the forefront of the nightclub and electronic music scene. With a roster that includes such artists as Sergio Levels, Rusty Meeks, MannMade Rodes, and Krystal Love B, Substation consistently produces Western Canada's best in modern house and techno.

'You' will be out on Monday, September 14 on Substation Recordings.
