AudioTreats Us To A Sip Of His New Track “Tonic”

The experimental producer is stirring up an ice cold glass of swank.

His SoundCloud biography boasts a modest description of his sound: "swanky grooves." Albeit vague, "swanky grooves" is spot on. AudioTreats newest track "Tonic," is a synth-y keyboard mantra that could appropriately underscore a happy hour in a hotel lobby―ice cube clinks included.

With an ear for instrumentation, AudioTreats became proficient in guitar, piano and clarinet before he graduated to producing electronic music. Like many, a young love for rap and hip-hop ignited a new musical inclination. "The first album I ever bought when I was young was 2Pac's All Eyes on Me, which kicked off my love for hip-hop," he says. Nowadays his influences bounce from Minus the Bear to the legendary Radiohead, but he still earmarks his taste to experimental sounds.

Already equipped with two albums (Vol. 1, Vol. 2), a remix EP, and a recent signing with Armada Music for four new tracks―AudioTreats is rapidly developing as a pervasive producer in the industry. "Tonic" is the first song he's released as a collaboration with Ronnie Strauss.
