You have quite a few options on that fateful Memorial Day weekend. Choose wisely.

Movement Detroit's phase two lineup confirms that fact the beloved city festival is still at the top of their game. Even after the initial massive lineup announcement brought in crowd favourites like Carl Craig, Disclosure, Dubfire and Dog Blood, phase two has managed to raised the bar to even higher levels of awesome.

New artists include the Parisian tech-master Brodinski, Warp Records' Hudson Mohawke, Maceo Plex, and even Wu-Tang's Method Man, who along with Snoop Dogg will be bringing some genre diversity into the mix.

As one of the longest running independent music festivals in the country, Movement maintains its supremacy by not only showcasing buzzy underground talent, but many of the techno pioneers who influenced a great deal of younger artists from the start. Pioneers like the Detroit hometown hero Juan Atkins, who will celebrate 35 years in the industry with a special performance under his iconic Model 500, joined by some surprise artists who will help celebrate his storied career as well as his label, Metroplex Records.

Movement Detroit 2015 will, as always, take place on Memorial Day weekend from May 23-25 at the renowned Hart Plaza in downtown Detroit, going head to head against other mammoth events like Mysteryland and EDC NYC , which both take place the same weekend.
