Listen To Chippy Nonstop Go All Dancehall Reggeaton with Prince Zimboo on "WATA"

A worldly feat.

This is what happens when a chick who was born in Dubai, grew up in Zambia, has Canadian citizenship, spent large chunks of time in New York and the Bay area and now lives in LA, teams up with an African hip-hopper who has been featured on Major Lazer and M.I.A records and has 999 wives. It's a thirsty, full-bodied bubbling reggeaton/dancehall fusion track that's vaguely reminiscent of M.I.A at her best.

"WATA" is co-produced by C.Z. of the M|O|D crew and Chippy. "C.Z. and I made this record in the old Mad Decent studios at Atwater, which has now moved," Chippy says. "I just roughly recorded the vocals and thought it would be cool if we got Prince Zimboo as a feature, so I tweeted at him and asked him if he was down and he said he was. He sent me his verse and then 'Wata' was born!"

Just another reminder that if you're looking for a meaningful long-lasting relationship, head to Twitter.
