Eli Escobar's New Single "Red Hot" Is a NYC House Anthem

"Red Hot", late night house vibes for a city that never sleeps.

Manhattan's Eli Escobar reps the Big Apple harder than any house head we know, so it's fitting that he dedicated an entire song to the city he will never leave. His latest single, "Red Hot," features Sydney-to-LA songstress Anna Lunoe serving seductive vocals and has us all feeling like we're a few hours deep into an afterhours basement party in Chinatown. For real though, this track has me itching to hit the bathroom and sneak a rail or two—even though I'm currently sitting alone in my own apartment, and I don't do drugs.

Staying true to his usual formula, the run-time on Eli's new jam is just under the six-minute mark and builds like a bullet train picking up steam. This cut has all the ingredients of the next NYC house anthem, but really all I'm praying for is that it won't pop up in the next episode of Girls. Please, no. The second version of "Red Hot," dubbed "the Other mix," along with "Touch" on the B-side (with a Curses remix) will be released Jan. 28 on Nurvous. In the mean time enjoy this stark, sexy homage to the city that never sleeps.
