Piknic Electronik is proving Montreal's vast musical offering with the second wave announcement for its 2015 program. The mid-season schedule, spanning August 9 to September 27 at the illustrious Parc Jean-Drapeau, is a carte du jour of wide-ranging dance music talent.

August's schedule circulates around two giants in the UK dance music scene. Boddika, the Ex-Instra:mental member and Joy Orbison collaborator, and Jackmaster, the Numbers label co-founder and musically multitudinous DJ/producer. As always, August will end off with the annual visit by the Piknic Electronik Barcelona team, who will haul this seasons sought after Barcelonan artists, Pional and Sau Poler.

In honor of the city's dance music kinship, the second half of Piknic Electronik's 2015 schedule is amplified by some of Montreal's reigning local collectives. Among them are Oasis, Moto Made, and 5 Years of Luv which features Sweet Daddy Luv and Moonstarr. As we unravel the summer into September, Labour Day weekend will be a special three-day event of Montrealers. Spread across September 5, 6 and 7, Piknic will bring Saintwoods, Lunice, and The Celestics up to the plate.

Piknic Electronik will continue their Sunday afternoon sovereignty in Montreal until September 27. For more information and tickets visit their website here.
