Every New Year, Orders of the British Empire are given by Great Britain to highlight the services by it's citizens and people under the Commonwealth of outstanding merit to charity, arts, and sciences. There are five rankings of precedence to the Orders — Knight Grand Cross, Knight Commander, Commander, Officer, and Member, the highest of which come with the snazzy term "Knight" (or "Dame" for women).This New Years, DJ, producer, and artist Clifford Price, more popularly known as Goldie, received the ranking of "Member" for his work in charity and the arts. "Very very proud to announce that I have been awarded an MBE," he wrote on Facebook. "There are some amazing people on the list, happy to be in such great company." Among his fellow honorees is Damon Albarn who received the rank of "Officer."
