Reggae superstar, Damian Marley, and jungle veteran, Goldie, are among those on this year's lineup for Outlook Festival, the esteemed bass-centric festival in an abandoned fort on the Croatian seafront.

The Croatian music festival has just announced its initial 2016 lineup, marking its ninth year of existence. As ever, the event will be held at the abandoned Fort Punta Christo beside the Adriatic sea, near the city of Pula. The proceedings will take place from August 31 to September 4.

Outlook boasts on their website of being "the largest Soundsystem Culture festival in Europe," and the names they've so far been able to lock down for their late Summer outing are sure to put that technology to very good use.

Damian Marley, Goldie, and Detroit stalwarts Slum Village are some of the biggest names to feature. They'll play alongside a wide range of notable artists such as Hyperdub boss Kode9, Dubstep pioneer Mala, UK tastemakers Elijah & Skilliam, grime upstart Stormzy, and London rapper Little Simz.

Boat parties and still more artists are set to be announced in the coming months, so stay tuned for further updates. In the meantime, you can see the full lineup here and buy your tickets to Outlook in advance here.
