A couple questions from a casual meme consumer: Why are people so amused by Smash Mouth's demented hit "All Star"? Why do people like fidget spinners so much, despite the fact that experts say there is "no evidence" that they actually help with anxiety or ADHD? Who cares. Some people say "All Star" is secretly about climate change, while others have argued that fidget spinners are "the perfect toy for the age of Trump." But really, who cares.

As if to highlight the absolute perversity that has become Content in 2017, YouTube poweruser James Nielssen—the man behind such viral hits as "Barry Benson saying 'ya like jazz?' 1,073,741,824 times" and "Shrek but every time he smiles it gets 5% faster"—has brought us a fidget spinner cover of "All Star." Why? We don't know. He records the toy spinning then runs it through some software to play the song. Watch the video.
