Sydney Blu Has Neighbors Who Hate Her, But They Haven’t Heard Her New Track

This Canadian producer has come a long way since her days in Thunder Bay.

Plenty of corny movies have depicted the tireless power struggle between neighbours. Almost every time, the battle royale involves one neighbour's relentless party throwing. Dance music producers commonly produce at home. So to have a DJ epitomize their innocent neighbour's struggles with a song title, was a long time coming.

The inexhaustible Sydney Blu is back again with a new track affectionately titled "My Neighbors Hate Me." As one of our true Canadian producers, Sydney has fostered her passion for success with Beatport charting, worldwide tours and a gritty creativity. Her own label, Blu Music, is also the cradle to several chart-topping dance music singles.

Her new track with Black Hole Recordings, "My Neighbors Hate Me" is the first single off her new album. The album is said to hone a whole new sound for Sydney, while still filling your ears with the underground. This premiere track is precisely that―a powerful bassline, an undeniable tech-house verve and a set of reflective vocals.

"'My Neighbors Hate Me' is one of my favourite records that I've written in the past year," says Sydney. "The title has absolutely nothing to do with the music, other than the fact that I got several complaints when I was writing this track. It's a trippy and groovy house track that takes you on a journey."

The track is out for purchase on November 24 and 2015 will bring a new year of BLU Parties worldwide. You can follow Sydney Blu on Facebook and SoundCloud for more.
