How to Eat and Drink at EDC Without Breaking the Bank... or Being Basic

An inside look at the grub amongst all the wubs and dubs.

In the early hours of the morning at EDC Las Vegas, just before sunrise but still after expelling a week's worth of calories in sweat, tears, and perhaps a little blood, you should probably eat something. We know you don't wanna, but do something healthy for once, you miscreant!

But alas, we hear the cries, you've spent a year's worth of savings on the festival itself and don't wanna take a break from dancing wait in line and scarf something down, so what's a young raver to do?

Don't be a dummy. Eat! And drink water. Drink lots and lots of water. Food and water are the things that keep your body alive while you're running around trying to keep your soul alive, especially when it's a scorching 110º during the day and only down to the 80s at night. Thankfully, the dining options at EDC have expanded this year, and we've got an inside look at what's going to be available. For you convenience, we have compiled a list of cheap eats at EDC that will leave your body (and tastebuds) happy and your wallets at ease.

If you happen to still be hungry once you leave the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Miranda Boyd, Vegas Insider for Vegas.com has the following suggestions:

Peppermill (2985 S Las Vegas Blvd)

"Late-night/early-morning diners have been getting their fill at the Peppermill since the 1970s. This old-school restaurant is open 24 hours and is known for its big menu and even bigger portions. Breakfast favorites include the Western fruit plate, served with fresh banana nut bread and creamy marshmallow sauce; chorizo and eggs; biscuits and gravy and corned beef hash with basted eggs."

Hash House A Go Go at the LINQ (3700 W Flamingo Rd)

Man vs. Food

"Did you work up a really big appetite on the dancefloor? If you're hungry—like

hungry—head to Hash House A Go Go. The restaurant, which is open 24 hours, has been featured on the TV show and is known for its monstrous portions of things like sage fried chicken and waffles, meat loaf, chicken pot pie and flapjacks."

Secret Pizza at the Cosmopolitan (3708 S Las Vegas Blvd)

"This place isn't so secret anymore. Word got around pretty quickly that it's a great spot to stop in for a slice of hot New York-style pizza after a long night. It's open late — until 4 AM and you can get tasty slices of fresh pepperoni, cheese, veggie and more. Our favorite, the white pizza. You can also take a whole pie to go. If you're not in on the secret yet, there's no signage, but just look for the hallway lined with old album covers on the third floor of the hotel."

Eat up. Be wise. Have fun. Rave hard. Drink water!
