Fehrplay Absolutely Slays His Debut on Mau5trap with "Pyara"

This is dark, groovy progressive house at its best.

Norwegian breakout Fehrplay makes his first mark on Deadmau5's iconic imprint Mau5trap today with "Pyara"—and it's a mark so deep, it's probably going to leave some scar tissue. "Pyara" actually means "love," or more specifically, "adorable" in Hindi, and Fehrplay confirms that he made the track while touring in India. But make no mistake. You are not going to be able to pick "Pyara" up by its cheeks and give it a little squeeze. Because this track—loaded with progressive house buildups and ravey synth stabs—is built for driving your car through the darkness, preferably on a coastline heavy with midnight fog. Listen to the THUMP exclusive above.
