UPDATE: Listen to all four new tracks below.

It may be Gorillaz co-founder Damon Albarn's 49th birthday, but it's fans who are getting gifted.

Right now, Albarn is visiting BBC Radio 1 host Mista Jam's show to share two new tracks from Gorillaz' forthcoming fifth album, Humanz, titled "Andromeda" (featuring D.R.A.M.) and "Saturnz Barz" (featuring Popcaan). He's also scheduled to debut album tracks "We've Got the Power" (featuring Savages' Jehnny Beth and Oasis' Noel Gallagher on backing vocals, Pitchfork points out) and "Ascension" (featuring Vince Staples) later today on Radio X and Beats 1, respectively.

"I'm desperate for it to come out," Albarn told Mista Jam about the album, adding that it stemmed from a "dark fantasy" in which a weird, unpredictable event completely changes the world, and the feelings it provokes. "It's a club record, but it's got this weird sort of darkness about it."

The drop comes hours after the animated band shared on Instagram details regarding the LP, which is now slated for release on April 28. Their first album in six years, Humanz has a long list of heavyweight collaborations, including Grace Jones, Mavis Staples, Pusha T, De La Soul, Anthony Hamilton, and more. Earlier this year, they also shared a politically-charged track, "Hallelujah Money."

Following Humanz' release, Gorillaz will perform their first live show since 2010 at their new Demon Dayz festival, which will debut in Margate, England on June 10 at the Dreamland amusement park.
