It was recently announced that Skrillex will be playing a series of small shows in Brooklyn—including one at Output, the Williamsburg technotopia that has a strict "Berlin policy" of no photography. While we were thinking, "Whoa—good luck Output" because that will probably be a nightmare for the door staff, we were laughing because as usual, people seem to be angry about this. We haven't heard from him in a while and when we went to check what he was up to we found out he has been spending more time hating than making music. Beacon Economics reported that Insomniac's Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas brought $278 million into Sin City over a three day period. The festival has brought a total of $621 million in the past 3 years. Maybe Pasquale should start bringing these things to Haiti and Africa? The last thing Vegas needs is more money to spend.
