Coachella Enlists LCD Soundsystem, Jack Ü, and More for Dance-Heavy 2016 Lineup

Underworld, RL Grime, TOKiMONSTA, and more will head to Indio, California in April.

The dancefloor's domination of California's resident megafest Coachella looks like it'll continue into 2016. Monday night, the Indio, California festival announced its latest lineup, and just like last year, electronic-leaning acts make up a majority of the bill—including headlining slots for a reunited LCD Soundsystem, and Calvin Harris. Coachella's consistently booked dance acts since its 1999 inception, and has given over a whole tent to DJs in recent years. This year's lineup on the whole seems to follow through on the trend of electronic music's casual takeover of the fest.

Diplo's dueling collaborations, Jack Ü and Major Lazer, each also receive prominent spots on the poster, alongside Underworld, RL Grime, Disclosure, Flume, 2ManyDJs, Zedd, and Baauer. But outside these bigger names, even the smaller print seems to skew toward the club, with appearances from TOKiMONSTA, Hudson Mohawke, Nosaj Thing, SOPHIE, the Black Madonna, Tensnake, Claptone, and Soul Clap scheduled among a multitude of other dance acts. James Murphy and 2ManyDJs are also bringing along their dynamic Despacio soundsystem, which a poster promises will be going "all weekend long."

Coachella goes down April 15-17, and then again the following weekend. Passes go on sale January 6 at 11 AM PST. Check out the stacked bill up below.
