Relive Bud Light Digital Dreams: Episode Three

We leapt into Sunday with reckless abandon and a level of ambition that can only be reserved for Canada’s largest electronic music festival.

Neither hangovers or a severe rainstorm was enough to subdue the energy at Bud Light Digital Dreams on its final day. Our bodies were bloody, our brains battered and our butts bruised (don't ask). We leapt into Sunday with reckless abandon and a level of ambition that can only be reserved for Toronto's largest electronic music festival.

After seeing Alex Pall and Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers napping on the artist lounge's couch, we woke them up for what we hoped would be Eastern Canada's groggiest interview. The noise from the crowd soon had their energy restored and they were eager to shed light on the ups and downs of the music industry. "It's an adventure, you know," Drew tells us enthusiastically, "you can't think too far ahead. We do something and it gets us somewhere, but we never stop doing things that we love."

Soon after, we link up with JELO and Dirtyphonics, who have as much enthusiasm for Digital Dreams as the swarm of sweaty festival-goers in the audience. Dirtyphonics, the renowned bass duo from Paris, share their love for this city. "Toronto has been a really strong drum and bass city for more than 15 years… We've had that love story with Canadians since day one."

As the night built up to its peak, we met a composed Tiesto who told us of his experience with Toronto. What did he say exactly? You'll have to relive the experience through our third and final episode of Bud Light Digital Dreams to find out.
