ON DECK: Aaron Snapes

A wise man once said… "Mondays are better with music." While no one exactly knows which wise man spoke these powerful words, we all know them to be true. Keeping said dude's legacy burning bright is a (office) party-ready ON DECK mix from budding UK DJ and producer Aaron Snapes, who recently released his Phantom EP on Perfect Driver Music.

With other releases thus far on Dirtybird, Food Music, and CR2, as well as support from such powerful voices as Pete Tong and Annie Mac, the Leed-based Snapes packs a strong, bass-driven vibe into his music, as well as in the mix he's just thrown into our laps. The tracklist contains squelchy tunes from the likes of ZDS, Justin Martin, Ardalan, Worthy and an allotment of other producers who will make your ass drop straight through that uncomfortable desk chair you find yourself occupying. We even get some more thinky house jams from names like Dark Sky, whose 2014 Mister Saturday Night Records jam "IYP" finds itself interestingly sandwiched between two Dirtybird bass bombs.

This is just what you, and ourselves needed on this Monday afternoon. Now everyone say together… "thaaanks Aaron!"
