Grum Brings the Sunshine With Some Blue Sky Thinking

Bliss out to the aural equivalent of a sunlight lamp.
Despite the name Grum sounding like a portmanteau of 'grim' and 'glum', the Scottish house producer is instead a purveyor of sun-soaked bliss. In fact, "Sunday Blue Sky" might just be the most optimistic piece of music we've heard in ages. Despite that fact that I've got a cough, was late for work, and suspect I may need a root canal, I couldn't help but feel everything was going to be alright as soon as I pressed play.

Not only does the bouncing melody and sparkling vocal line soar, but the track's production has summer festival written all over it, and who isn't instantly cheered up at the thought of that? The track is part of an EP featuring remixes of the lead track from Peter Dundov and King Unique and will be released on Heartbeat Records on the March 9 through Beatport.
