​Listen to 'Broken Flowers,' Danny L Harle's Emotional EP for PC Music

The divisive cult label PC Music took their semi-ironic meta-conceptual project to the next level last month, when they signed on the dotted line for Columbia Records. The first release to arrive in the wake of that record deal is the four-track Broken Flowers EP by Danny L Harle, a converted classical musician who has set himself to writing the biggest, juiciest, most emotional pop anthems he can possibly muster.

"I really hope I fit in with pop world," he told NME. "I love that world. My dream is to write a big tune everyone can relate to. That would be such a feeling of elation." The title track has been kicking around the PC Music Soundcloud for a couple years now, and now it's getting an official release along with three other cuts that channel soaring vocal trance and late '90s Eurobeat, coating it all in a candy gloss that's distinctly modern.
