Dabbling with Dieter Meier's smoky, one-of-a-kind voice can be dangerous, but Berlin-based producers Magda and NYMA are up to the challenge on their tech-heavy remix of the Yello classic "Live At The Roxy." The track is part of the duo's fifth instalment (DTR005) of their Define the Relationship series, which has already seen them take on acts including Joy Division and LL Cool J. Now taking on electronic band Yello (the band behind that really famous song from Ferris Bueller's Day Off), these two DJs present a collection of remixes from the iconic Swiss acts' first four albums."This band has been a huge influence on me throughout the years," Magda says. "Their productions are rich and cross multiple genres and still sound as fresh today as they did back then." Staying true to the song's roots, but revitalizing it with some unobtrusive contemporary tweaks, Magda and NYMA's "Live At The Roxy" remix is a 21st century update of a 1980s anthem.
