Following his work with acts including Prince, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Flying Lotus, and more, Grammy Award-winning composer, producer, singer, and drummer Ronald Bruner Jr. is gearing up to release his long-awaited debut album, Triumph.

Recorded with help from his brothers Stephen Bruner, aka Thundercat, and Jameel Bruner (formerly of the Internet) during the same West Coast sessions that produced Kamasi Washington's 2015 LP The Epic, the 11 tracks draw on influences ranging from deep fusion to jazz to pop. Today we're premiering "Sensation," a breezy, upbeat cut featuring Los Angeles singer-songwriter Danielle Withers and Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller, which sees the multi-hypenate artist showing off his soul chops.

"'Sensation' is my combination of LA's sunshine, fun, girls and complex street rhythms with a taste of Heinz Field," Bruner Jr. told THUMP over email. "Coming in the studio to write this song was filled with so much joy. With such heavies in the room, you can't help but float."

Listen to the track below and preorder Triumph here before it comes out March 3 via World Galaxy/Alpha Pup.
