Akito Hearnshaw is a busy boy. Not just content with putting in the hours down at West End DJ, playing out, taking photos, making films running his own Sub Skank label and getting ready to launch his new Sans Absence imprint, he's somehow found time to hook with THUMP favourite Rushmore for a new EP of rough hewn club music on Trax Couture."I first met Matt / Rushmore at the Rhythm Talk parties in Dalston," he tells us. "I remember he put up a post on Facebook once saying they were looking for a videographer to film their parties; so the next time I saw him I drunkenly stumbled up to him like "I'll do it", the following day I sent him a few videos and we've been mates ever since.Oh, and for those of you sat at home wondering what the fuck a Dalston dip is when it's at home, Akito's keen to assure us that you can take it any way you like.
