Get Ready for #ElectrikLondon — A Whole New Way Of Experiencing Nightlife

Your standard night in a club is usually fine, isn't it? There'll be a dancefloor and a bar and a DJ booth and a few blokes on the verge of passing out into a few girls in the smoking area and a long wait for a bus home after the lights go up and the true horror of the evening's events is on display for the world to see. That's fine. Wouldn't it be nice, though, if every so often, a night out was a genuine experience. You want to go don't you? Of course you do. And it might be easier than you think.

Enter Absolut's #ElectrikLondon, a hyper sensory, mixed reality exploration into the future of nightlife, curated alongside design studio Marshmallow Laser Feast and independent record label R&S Records. Sounds better than a night down Chasers, doesn't it? Sign ups for tickets have now closed, but of course, we still have a couple to give away.

Taking place on the 19th of November at London's Bankside Vaults, this truly, genuinely exploratory night out is set to send the clubber into a kind of out-of-this-world extrasensory, audio-visual experience, using virtual reality headsets and all manner of other a la mode technology that'll result in a night that will include three rooms which will offer experiences at mass, collective and individual scales, each revealing a different perspective on nightlife. Sounds good right?

That all sounds great and everything. but what about. y'know, the music? Ah, well, they've got that on lock too. The night'll come to life with tailored DJ sets by Leon Vynehall, Lone, Space Dimension Controller and Moiré. LED wall projections will be motion reactive – responding to sound and mood over the night. Those VR headsets will transport guests into another dimension, transforming perceptions of nightlife, and raising questions of reality in the digital age.

And drinks, everyone needs a good drink in a club don't they? A sugary alcopop maybe, or a shot (or ten) of something medicinal tasting maybe? not here. Instead, Absolut's ambassador and mixologist Rico Dynan will create a series of experimental drinks which will act as an introduction to each experience. They include the Coffee Tonik, Absolut Mule and the Electrolyte, created using Absolut, Coconut Water, Lime Juice, pineapple syrup, blue curacao. No need for a plastic cup of flat lager, then.

If you've been crafty enough to register, then you're already aware you can buy yourself tickets for just £6. If you didn't get that memo - You can still enter the competition below to win four tickets plus dinner and hotel accommodation for you and your pals.If
