As the sun starts to roll out throughout the UK, attentions turn towards those longed for summer getaways. Most of our working day at the moment is taken up with intense daydreams about how much fun we're going to have at Hideout this summer. As the festival's fifth year sees the likes of Nina Kraviz, Skream, Cajmere, Monki and Heidi head to the ever-sunny shores of Croatia, you can see why.Oh, and we're throwing a boat party too. We've got some of house's heaviest hitters to get their armbands out of the loft in preparation for one of the summer's biggest parties - on land or sea. The Belfast bloggers-turned-superstar DJs are no strangers to the taps aff lifestyle so don't expect to see them clad in wooly pully's come July. What you can expect, however, is a few hours of perfectly curated seabed bliss from a pair of lads who happily romp from Italo to hard techno and back again via euphoric piano house and star-spangled disco. This one's going to be wild.
We're also set to be graced by the presence of a living deep house legend in the shape of Chicagoan Chez Damier. Damier's pretty much unbeatable run of records in the 90s — including all-time classics like "Forever Monna," "The Morning Factory," and "I Never Knew Love" — have cemented his place in the annals of dance music history.
