Four Tet, Floating Points, Jamie xx and Gilles Peterson Are Playing a Fundraiser in Brixton This Sunday

The event is in aid of the Steve Reid Foundation, a trust established in honour of the late jazz drummer.

Having previously tweeted an enigmatic "make sure you don't have plans already for Sunday night," Four Tet (Kieran Hebden) took to Twitter again this morning to announce a surprise show at Brixton's Phonox this Sunday evening. He will be joined by Floating Points, Jamie xx and Gilles Peterson. The event starts at 6pm and according to the event description—helpfully scrawled out on a vinyl sleeve—tickets will only be available on the door and will cost a minimum donation of £15.

The fundraiser is in aid of the Steve Reid Foundation, a trust established in honour of the legendary American jazz drummer set out to help people working in music who are in times of crisis, in particular illness. Hebden worked with Steve Reid before his death, and the pair released an album together, Tongues, in 2007. Reid died 6 years ago next week.
