Here Are Five Unmissable Acts at We Love Green this Weekend

There's lots to see in Paris this weekend, so make sure you don't miss out.

Weekends, eh? There's so much you can do with them isn't there? You could climb Ben Nevis or wash the car. You could read War and Peace or play Angry Birds. You might even do a big shop and spend the rest of it sitting about in your boxers having a long hard think about when life got so fucking dull. You could do any of that stuff.

Or you could, if you were so inclined, nip over to Paris for another instalment of We Love Green festival. Taking place this weekend in Bois de Vincennes, the eco-minded event's got everyone from Hot Chip to PJ Harvey onboard for what looks set to be a perfect early summer weekender. To save you the headache of missing out on something spectacular, we've put together this short guide to the five acts you simply can't miss at We Love Green.

1. AXEL BOMAN

The leggy Swede, and Studio Barnhus boss, is one of the most in demand DJs on the planet right now and it's really not hard to see why. A charismatic, supremely talented and ridiculously fun selector, Boman's set is sure to be a festival highlight. Oh, and he's fucking great at spin-backs too.

2. HOLLY HERNDON

Herndon was the recipient of our album of the year award last year so we're expecting big things from one of the most forward thinking musicians around. After all, who doesn't find the idea of lazing about in a Parisian park clutching a petite bier while "Interference" is performed at brain-splitting volume? Could you imagine a better scenario than that? Could you?

3. KELELA

Everyone's favourite avant-R&B singer is everyone's favourite avant-R&B singer for a reason, and that reason's a simple one: she's fucking great. And because she's fucking great you'd been an absolute fool to miss her. You aren't a fool are you? No? Good.

4. DAM FUNK

Damon Riddick is arguably the most laid-back man on the planet and his Sunday afternoon set's bound to be more refreshing than a really, really, insanely, ludicrously, needlessly icy pint of cloudy lemonade. We recommend watching him with a really, really, insanely, ludicrously, needlessly icy pint of cloudy lemonade.

5. FATIMA YAMAHA

Well, let's be honest here —what modern festival's complete without hearing this one?
