Elan Benaroch has been a fixture of Vancouver's house scene since the 90s, whether it be DJing and producing as ESB, playing in the disco group Saturn Space Disco Orchestra, or more recently, collaborating with producer Jay Haze. He's traded the former moniker for Elka on Chants, his new full-length cassette for 1080p, which you can exclusively stream today ahead of its May 27 release.

Recorded last year in his East Hastings studio, Benaroch relied mostly on vintage hardware to create 12 tracks of sleek, understated house and techno. Mixing early Detroit influences, electro, and a few occasional nods to acid, it's unapologetically melodic, without losing sight of the dance floor.

Listen below and pre-order Chants digitally via Bandcamp or on cassette.
