It's been a solid year so far for pioneering cosmic Italian Daniele Baldelli. The ebulliently joyous Cosmic Drag, released on the ever wonderful Endless Flight label, was an artist album par excellence, providing disco-inclined DJs the world over with a batch of peaktime steppers. Not content with that, or his regular globetrotting gig bookings, Baldelli's teamed up with another Italian, DJ Rocca, for the Kachiri EP, a set of deep, dynamic, cosmic cuts for Nein Records, a label we're a big fan of.Rocca and Baldelli have also got a few of their mates involved to bring us a pretty stellar remix package, released on gorgeous Italian tricolour vinyl. We're lucky enough to be bringing you French electro-dungeon-dweller Ivan Smagghe's mix of the title track, which sees warped Italo and oddball afro-ambience cavort with disco classicism.

Baldelli and Rocca's original mixes are out now but the remix series will be available on digital soon, followed by the limited edition vinyl in June.
