Listen to the Melting Grooves of Frits Wentink's "Man at Parade"

House music for weirdos.

We've been hooked on the production of Amsterdam based Frits Wentink for some time now. Cuts like "Dwayne Young" and "Shrewd" bore the basics of chunky, bouncing house records, but on each there was something squiffy, something unnerving going on. Wentink's brand is probably best described as wrong house, he typically makes tracks that sound as though they are barely able to stand up. They stumble to and fro with a jaunty, fucked up groove, all the while underpinned by huge, trundling, kick drums. Not only that, but he also releases them all on his own label, Bobby Donny, which is exactly where his next EP Horses in Cornfield is going to come out.

We've heard the whole EP and it's another serving of deliciously wonky, weirdo house — perfect for the inevitable slide into post-party dystopia — and Frits has been very generous and given us an exclusive first listen to a track from the EP, "Man at Parade." Listen below.
