You may or may not have noticed that the xx have spent the last few days turning Brixton into their personal playground. The moody trio's Night + Day events have seen them play gig after gig at the Brixton Academy, with some unusual, intriguing, and THUMP-friendly friends joining them along the way. With the likes of Ben UFO, Kelela, Oneman, Beatrice Dillion, and Joy Orbison tagging along, the events have been even more enjoyable than scoffing a Big Mac or two at the nearby McDonalds and hopping over to the Ritzy for a late night screening of The Room.
Not content with that, the band have also teamed up with local station Reprezent for a on-air takeover that's seen the airwaves commandeered by Jaques Greene, Big Zuu, and Robyn. Oh, and our favourite DJ on the station—Naina—got involved too. Which made us very happy indeed.
Her most recent show saw her joined by Night Slugs boss Bok Bok and everyone's favourite meme hungry grime producer Faze Miyake for a thrilling overview of what's smashing the best clubs in London and beyond right now. She's very kindly let us give you lot an exclusive listen to the whole thing below. Expect a trio of mixes and some stimulating conversation, and if you're asking for more than that then, well, you're a difficult person to please.
Check it out right now.
