Sister Collective Founder Toxe's New Mix is Overwhelming In The Best Way

In the experimental club world, Swedish producer Toxe—who previously released music under her own name, Tove Agelii—has been on an undeniable rise. For one thing, there's her consistently amazing machine beats, uncannily synthesizing abstraction with real, tangible feeling; but she's also known as the mastermind of the ever-sick Sister mix series and collective, self-described as "a platform Created with the aim of solidifying a network of women within underground club music."

Stockholm's Staycore 117 is lucky to call Toxe a signee, and after she caught our ears with her self-released single and crucial collaborations with label artists Dinamarca and Metachok, we were stoked to find out that her inaugural solo EP, titled Muscle Memory, is slated for release next week. In anticipation of that, she recorded a kinetic, combusting, and overwhelming-in-the-best-way mix for The Astral Plane, featuring unreleased tracks from herself and the likes of Janus' Kablam and London's Kamixlo.
